Set amidst sleek black mesh, the new colorway sports a set of reflective materials that Adidas Black Friday Deals project a spectrum of luminous hues at different angles. Starting at the top, the shoe sees a tonal suede tongue marked with subtle “adidas” branding, complemented by round tonal laces. Running through its ripstop Three Stripes motif at the sidewalls, and wrapping around the heel counter, is transparent piping that offsets the textured mesh overlays. As a final touch, bold iridescent highlights appear around the upper quarter, heel and toebox, while an articulated adiPRENE midsole rounds up the sneaker’s design.


This simple black palette plays up the shoe’s industrial nature and layered aesthetic. Gone are the laces, Adidas Cyber Monday Sale replaced by three rollercoaster buckles tethered to the upper by elongated black fabric straps. These straps hang off the side in appealing fashion for a conceptual take on a midfoot Three Stripe graphic, and can be tightened or loosened to adjust the fit.


The todaycapture shoe’s classic mesh construction is structured by a unique TPU cable running from the heel to the vamp, combining with the shoe’s embroidered 3-Stripe mark to create an unorthodox lacing system. Contrast stitching details and welded details complete the picture, finished with the LXCON model’s striking adiPRENE midsole. The result is a shoe that combines the aggressive aesthetic of the past with contemporary style touches, culminating in a modern silhouette which could only have come from the adidas archive.


Jet black plastic tubing snakes through this Adidas Lxcon Solar Green/Cream White alternate setup three times on each side before coming to rest behind the heel, where it’s secured with a leather overlay. More leather accents are present above the toebox, and synthetic overlays sit atop the mesh base on both the lateral midfoot and the toe cap. For a finishing touch, thick adiPRENE midsoles add a dark grey spellout motif across a raised semi-circle piece on the rear.
